We Helpers from Switzerland celebrated Eugénie Smet’s birthday in a special way.
We travelled together to Paris, to the Barouillère, where the Institute was founded, and spent a few days on retreat.
Claudia, a member of the Generalate team, gave some inspirations how to develop our charism as helpers and enabled us to discover the rooms in which Eugénie lived and worked, sharing the hopes, joys and sufferings of her time.
These days were nourishing and fortifying, and living them in community was a special gift.
