Today, 1st August 2025, we joyfully celebrated the opening of the 22nd General Chapter. The participating sisters (capitulants) assembled in front of the chapel and Gudrun, Superior General, called them one by one.
Once all the sisters had entered the chapel, the chapter was declared open.
Gudrun said:
” This chapter goes with the symbol of doors. We are invited to look at which doors are closing and which are opening and which we are called to go through, through which doors we are called to invite people into our homes.
Let us be sure that it is Jesus himself who is The Door – and who knows? perhaps his dwelling is a dwelling without doors, a tent that he pitches and dismantles and that we always discover anew, with gratitude, with amazement, with the openness to let ourselves be moved.”
Let us pray together for all the sisters participating in the chapter during this time of grace for our Institute.
