“I continue to give thanks for the diversity of gifts and charisms that made this adventure so beautiful and so good, which then allows us to hear people saying “I understood that God loves me as I am”, “I discovered a way of praying that sustains me”, “I was reconciled with the Church”, etc. I also leave full of hope: young people are thirsty for God and for projects; they want to give meaning to their lives and their friendships.”

“Leading the Magis circles for the first time allowed me to meet young people with very different personalities: some were full of words and energy, while others were more reserved and needed attentive support. In Rome, I was able to immerse myself in the Jubilee and live a real spiritual experience with moments that will remain engraved in my memory, such as seeing the Pope up close and passing through the Holy Door.”

“I went to Florence and then Assisi to accompany a group of about twenty young people aged between 18 and 22. Little by little, we discovered how St Francis and St Clare responded, in their own way, to the challenges of their time and how they can be figures of hope for us today. And as one young woman said at the end of the week, together ‘we became pilgrims of hope’!”

“I was touched by the quality of the presence of the young French and Italian people who participated in the Matera experiment. They were all really open to encountering realities other than their own, eager to discover new things! In their reviews, the young people shared the joyful experience of community they had enjoyed during this stay. I too was able to contemplate the beauty of this ‘creating community’ which gives real strength to dare the impossible, strength to love more, in a universal way, and to move forward together on the path following Christ!”
